She is a Carthage native and enjoys living in her hometown with her husband, Cole, and three kids. She stays connected with the community through her kids sporting events and activities and through her church.

She also spends her time volunteering for numerous non-profit groups like Rollin on the River Blues Committee, Pink Heals of Western Illinois and 2x4's for Hope.
